Chili Cook-Off
Always held the last Sunday in August at Josten Park in Bellevue, the Chili Cook-Off is our major fundraiser. We have a live band, bucket raffles, food for the whole family…and, of course, CHILI!
We are so excited to partner with Dance Unlimited this year. Dance Unlimited is a 501(c)3 non profit community dance program whose mission is to make quality dance education affordable. This collaboration will allow Dance Unlimited to offer more programs and scholarships to children in and around the Bellevue Village Community.
We have contestants who arrive early to prepare chili on-site. Later in the day, the public can sample all the different chili and vote on their favorites. We give out three awards: People’s Choice, Judge’s Choice, and Best in Show. Winners of the chili awards receive money, trophies, and bragging rights! The marketplace area, where vendors can set up booths, is back again this year. Our collaborating partner, Dance Unlimited will be spearheading this portion of the Chili Cook-Off. It’s always such a joy to see the creative ways that people make a living! If you’re interested in a vendor booth, please download and send in the Marketplace Application.
